Transatlantic Perspectives is happy to announce the publication of “Europe—Migration—Identity” in the journal National Identities. Building upon papers from our 2011 Summer Seminar at the University of Minnesota, this special issue brings together new research at the intersection of migration studies and the history of Europeanness.
The special issue was edited by the conveners of the Summer Seminar—Donna Gabaccia (UMN), Sally Gregory Kohlstedt (UMN), and Jan Logemann (GHI). It includes contributions from Leslie Page Moch, Kiran Klaus Patel, Laura A. Miller, Barbara Louis, Jessica Sperling, and Saara Koikkalainen.
National Identities is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes research on historical and contemporary issues relating to the formation and expression of national, ethnic, and political identity. The full special issue can be found online here: http://www.tandfonline.com/toc/cnid20/15/1
