This Marshall Plan poster, designed by Austrian artist Walter Hofmann reads “Einiges Europa traegt Wohlstand,” or A United Europe Carries Prosperity. The poster shows chains bearing the flags of European nations supported by a hook that says ERP. It was one of the top 25 posters chosen in a 1950 contest of artists from Marshall Plan countries.
